These terms apply to every order you place with Default Branch through this website. Please read them before you order.
Default Branch prepares and supplies the food you order on this website. You can contact us using the details below.
When you place an order you’ll see a confirmation on screen, and by email if you gave us your address. Your order is accepted once we confirm it. We may decline an order — for example if an item is unavailable, we’re too busy, or your address is outside our delivery area — and if we do, any payment taken is refunded in full.
Prices are shown on the menu and include VAT where it applies. Any delivery charge, service charge or discount is shown before you confirm your order. Online payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.
Collection and delivery times are estimates. We do our best to meet them, but busy periods, traffic and weather can cause delays. Please make sure someone is available at the address you gave. We may refuse to hand over age-restricted items, such as alcohol, if we can’t confirm the recipient is old enough.
Food is prepared to order, so an order can’t be cancelled once we’ve started preparing it, and the 14-day cancellation period for online purchases doesn’t apply to food made for immediate consumption. If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.
If anything is missing or wrong with your order, contact us straight away so we can put it right. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please read our allergy advice and tell us before you order.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited by law. Otherwise, we aren’t responsible for losses that weren’t foreseeable when you placed your order.
These terms are governed by the law of the part of the United Kingdom where we are based. You can bring a claim in the courts there or in the courts where you live.
